So I have always wanted to learn how to make cakes, but never got around to taking a class. Finally I took matters into my own hands. The perfect opportunity arose and I embraced it. I made a chocolate fudge cake with cream cheese frosting and polka dots for a girl in my department, it was her birthday. It turned out delicious. The dots were made out of fondant and this was my first adventure with fondant. It was a very pleasant one and I like the way it turned out. I am excited to learn more about this and get better at it.
In other news, I am going to Orlando. Ah yeah, we will be there for work May 28- June 1. A couple of us have decided to make this a vacation. We are leaving Salt Lake on May 24 and will return with the rest of the employees on June 1. I am stoked!

I also am depressed that I was not there to partake of the delicious, and super cute cake. I was going to ask pretty please that you make one for my birthday, but alas, you will be away enjoying the warmth and sunshine of Orlando. =(
